We Are the Change We’ve Been Waiting For

Dear Friends,
Once or twice a year, we at American Majority get the chance to witness an event that definitively affirms our ongoing efforts to empower the conservative grassroots. This past Tuesday, we were fortunate to witness such an event in Wisconsin, and I want to take a moment to share with you the fruits of our labor.
As you know, since last year's battle over Governor Scott Walker's Budget Repair Bill, Leftist public sector unions like SEIU and the NEA have relentlessly fought to preserve their stranglehold on the purse strings of the Wisconsin state government. As a result, the state's budget and tax base have languished under an oppressive tax burden.

Not content to go quietly into a bleak statist future, Wisconsin Tea Party groups and activists have reached out to American Majority for help to stem the tide of government expansion, and we have been more than happy to oblige.
We were fortunate to see our efforts rewarded this past Tuesday when 32 AM-trained or identified candidates were elected to countywide office, out of 59 on the ballot. With hard work, cutting edge political strategy, and tried and true tactics provided by American Majority, 32 newly elected conservatives are now positioned to roll back their local governments' reckless tax-and-spend policies.
I cannot overstate the value of American Majority's training for first-time candidates, and these numbers prove that after four years of training conservatives in the grassroots, our material is still the best available anywhere. This is information that campaign consultants would charge thousands of dollars to provide. We give it away for next to nothing.
This week's elections in Wisconsin are also a win for American Majority's New Leaders Project (www.newleadersproject.org), and I want to briefly highlight one activist who embodies exactly what this unprecedented initiative is all about.
Annette Olson of Uninfringed Liberty, a St. Croix County Tea Party group, single handedly recruited 14 candidates to run for office in her county. Of these 14 candidates, seven won county board races against liberal, union-backed incumbents, two others were reelected, and one school board candidate defeated the most liberal member of her county school board. That's ten conservative candidates elected in a single county, out of 14 on the ballot!
I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this news with you – not just because it means a brighter future for Wisconsin, but also because of the potential to translate these results to the rest of the country. The New Leaders Project aims to replicate this model nationwide, one Annette Olson at a time.
Our success in Wisconsin is proof positive that together, we can change our nation's course by putting candidate identification in the hands of locally focused conservatives, then following it up with American Majority's top-of-the-line training. This is the perfect recipe to enable these conservatives to reclaim control of their local governments and implement desperately needed conservative fiscal policy.
None of this would have been possible without the generous support of investors like you. If you want to help fund American Majority, the New Leaders Project, and our tens of thousands of trainees as we work together to fight the Left's encroachment on our liberty, please click here to support our work.
I look forward to sharing more good news like this with you in the months and years to come, and I am truly grateful for joining with us thus far.
All the best,

Ned Ryun
President, American Majority
