Dear Friend, After yesterday's Supreme Court ruling on ObamaCare, the American people have now had foisted upon them the largest expansion of government in the history of the world. As the American taxpayer labors under even more regulation and more taxes, a liberal minority has decided that the American people are not bearing enough of a burden and have given us an even heavier load.  Almost from day one in this debate on universal healthcare the American people have been repeatedly lied to by the progressives and radical leftists: about the real number of uninsured, about the cost, about the implementation and about its impact on our economy.   Yet we now as a people find ourselves in tough economic times confronting a massive new tax.  And we have a choice. We can either accept this ruling, or we can fight. I say we fight. The original tea partiers fought King George’s taxes-by-fiat, refusing to compliantly accept them.  They knew that the Crown’s acts were inherently unjust, so they resisted them...and were ultimately forced to take up arms to fight for their rights.  We will not fight with guns, but with the most powerful tools we have, our minds, our voices, our votes and our love for this country.

Last night, Jim Bridenstine, an American Majority trainee twice over, defeated five-term incumbent Congressman John Sullivan in Oklahoma’s District 1 primary by a whopping 8 percentage points, after being outspent four-to-one. UNDERSTANDING THE SYSTEM Last week we talked about American royalty or “The Ruling Class”– that troika of protected Americans who have gamed the System at our expense for their own benefit.  But what is “the System” anyway.  Is it a republican form of government? What about the free market? Is it driven by people, parties or government bureaucracies? In this edition of Majority Points we’ll discuss what we call “the System.”  Understanding “the System” is the first step toward breaking it - and breaking it is the only way to restore the America that was and should be again.  We all know that Progressive policies have increased the size and scope of our government to an unsustainable level.  Before the Progressive era the view of government had been “light touch” regulation, but beginning in the early 20th Century liberal reformers brought European ideas to American politics and government.  Carefully, progressives recruited farmers and labor unions and even some small business owners to begin agitating for greater government involvement in the private sector.

The British have the Queen, the Saudis have their King and we have a Republic –where everyone is equal and the people rule.  Right?  In this week’s Majority Points we’ll explore America’s Royalty or ruling class.  Yes, we have them.  No bejeweled crowns or lavish weddings. Instead our royals are destroying the promise of America.  If you’re reading this, you’re probably not part of it – but you’re paying for it every day.   They are the cause of our ballooning debt, over-taxation and slide into European-style statism. It might surprise progressives that the American Ruling Class isn’t the rich.  Progressives wage war on those who are successful, wealthy and accomplished for the sake of dividing America.  In fact, the Ruling Class is a complex cabal of seemingly permanent incumbent elected officials, public employee union bosses, and those in large financial institutions who work together to condemn the American taxpayer to generations of obligations they cannot afford. Let’s take a look at who they are.  It’s the first step in doing something about them. After all, as Jefferson wrote, “An elective despotism is not the government we fought for.”  Our Ruling Class is a damaging force that is quietly scraping away at the fabric of the country.

Dear Friend, A couple of weeks ago, I found myself sitting in the back of the room at our training in Elmira, New York listening to Martin Gillespie, our northeast regional director, train nearly 70 people on the tactics of door-to-door canvassing.  I had given the day’s first lesson and was preparing for my next lecture when I started checking my Twitter and email accounts and realized that American Majority was actually doing five trainings that day, from California to Florida to New York to Ohio to Illinois. In all honesty, that realization was a pleasant surprise to me. I then realized that that day in Elmira marked American Majority’s 600th training session, with the overwhelming majority taking place in less than three years. I also realized that as of that day, American Majority had trained over 21,000 people (and by trained, we don’t mean merely talking to people about ideas, but actually giving them, at a minimum, three hours of nuts and bolts training). We also passed another milestone: the training of our 2,000th candidate.  Now in addition to those candidates that American Majority helped identify and train,  more than 10% of those who come through our activist - or as we’re starting to call them, “effectivist” trainings - will eventually run for office. Case in point was a wonderful woman who came up at the end of the day’s training and shared her and her husband’s experience.  Here’s their story:
