Help us test new technology!

Friends,

As many of you have come to know, American Majority strives to bring you the very best in political training and resources. We are constantly looking for new ways to help you win. Recently, we came across a new online tool that may help activist groups better engage their members in various projects. The online application is called Fanforce, and we think this could be a game changer for Conservatives across the county.

Fanforce is a fun and interactive way for organizations to engage activists across the country. Being able to keep people interested and active is a sign of a successful organization- and the tools Fanforce offers have the potential to help develop new projects and create visible results.

Constitution Day Training Bomb

On September 17th, 2011, we will celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the ratification of our Constitution. It is one of the greatest political documents in history, and has provided us with a roadmap to become the most prosperous and free nations the world has ever seen.

But in 2011, the principles of limited government and individual freedom are in question, and we are at a crossroads: do we go down a path of statism, and abandon the founding vision for this country? Or do we renew those ideals again, and rise to even greater heights of freedom and prosperity? Understanding there is a problem is not enough. Coming up with ideas to solve the problems is not enough. Protesting is not enough.

For us to turn this country around, and have leadership that believes and promotes the right ideas of limited government, free enterprise and fiscal responsibility, the citizens must be equipped with the tools to bring about real change, and then spurred into action. The time to sit and think, or vent, has passed. The time for real action has come.

FW: 5 Days Left to be Heard on Ft. Monroe

Ft. Monroe National Park

July 21, 2011
Dear Friend,

Would you like to see historic Fort Monroe become a National Park?

If the recent public meetings are an indicator, than you certainly do.

Fort Monroe is unlike any other military facility in our nation's history.  It is filled with stories of trial and triumph from the earliest exploration of the North American continent to today.  It contains beautiful landscapes, magnificent beaches and grand examples of fine architecture.

It deserves to be protected, cherished and preserved!

Over the course of the last several weeks my fellow Members of Council and I have had the opportunity to meet with Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Director of the National Park Service Jonathan Jarvis, as well as attend two public hearings held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

At each of these events hundreds of your fellow citizens expressed their support for a national park at Fort Monroe.

But there is just five days left to insure your voice is heard!

The National Park Service will receive comments online and by mail until July 26, 2011.

I encourage you to join me by visiting: www.parkplanning.nps.gov/fortmonroe or by mailing your letter of support to:

National Park Service
Attn: Megan Lang
200 Chestnut Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

The more support we can generate the greater the likelihood this historic treasurer will become a National Park for current and future generations to cherish.

Yours in Service,

Chris Stuart Signature

Fwd: Help Us Train Them

Patriot,

Thanks to the outpouring of financial support from hundreds of American Majority activists, we've raised just over $14,000 to help fund our New Leaders Project.

As I explained last week, just under 500 tea party groups from across the country are actively identifying candidates to run for office at all levels of government. We are far ahead of where we thought we'd be at this point in the year, and we are scrambling to keep up with the demand to get these candidates trained.

We need to raise at least $9,000 more to reach our $25,000 goal to bring our New Leaders Project into full throttle -- please make a donation of any size right now
.

I've put together a short video for you to learn more about the New Leaders Project, so that you better understand what your donation will help us achieve.

The bottom line is this: America needs new leadership right now, at all levels of government. We need leaders who have the ability to effectively communicate the ideas of free enterprise, limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual freedom, while at the same time running sound campaigns.

Please watch a short video about the New Leaders Program and make an urgent contribution right now to ensure we have the resources to keep up with the demand
.

I can't thank you enough for your commitment toward ensuring the Tea Party will continue to be a sustainable political force, one that activates citizens, identifies credible leadership for America's communities, and ushers in a new era of accountability.

Onward!

Ned Ryun

Help us train them

Dear Patriot,

I can't believe it's already May!

The year is flying by and I thought I'd take a moment to update you on the most critical and biggest initiative that American Majority has ever taken on.

It's called the New Leaders Project. You see, last November's elections were just an opening salvo in the long war that will determine who will control America’s future: the American people or a ruling class of elite incumbent politicians who have driven this nation down the road to statism for too long.

America needs new leadership --

So, You Want to Run for Office... (Part 2)

By Matt Robbins, National Executive Director

Last month we talked about the preliminary steps a person should run through if they're thinking of running for office. Now we'll dig a little deeper and point out some very practical parts of the equation that hit on a personal level. And of course my closing thought from last time bears repeating once more here:

If you'd rather win the philosophical argument about why your political beliefs are the clearly correct ones than actually go out and meet the people who could become your proud supporters, running for office is probably not for you.

However, if rolling up your sleeves and grappling with the real-world (and sometimes small-bore) challenges of governance motivates you, the political process beckons with open arms. Can you solve problems? I don't mean demagogue--- I mean solve. Solutions which can be put forward and implemented with a real consensus are rarely easy, or somebody else in office would've already found them.

In other words are you willing to listen, learn, help and then lead?

Petition Congress to Drill Here and Now

Are you prepared for gas prices to continue to rise, to as much as $5 a gallon? With the possibility of Ahmadinejad taking control of OPEC, do we want our money funding terrorism and genocide? It's time to stop being held hostage at the pump. Sign this petition and tell Congress:
It's time to drill here.
It's time to drill now

Finding New Leaders

If you want to make a real difference, help us find new candidates to run for local office! Since we launched The New Leaders Project, nearly 500 groups have pledged to identify 10 new candidates, and give them access to our Candidate Training resources and campaign materials.  Click here to sign the pledge, or visit our website for more information.

Tea Party Special Report

Many of the local tea party groups across the country are disappointed in what they see as broken promises from Republican leadership in Washington. This report shares thoughts from groups in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Virginia and across the country- and how they plan to respond in 2012.
